Guest Farm accommodation in the Champagne Valley
 Ardmore Guest Farm provides
personal, farm-style accommodation on a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast
basis.
Ardmore Guest farm is situated in the enchanting Champagne valley of the
central Drakensberg, just below the majestic the three highest peaks in
South Africa. Mafadi (highest at 3450m); Injisuthi Dome (second
highest at 3410m) and the majestic Champagne Castle (third highest at
3377m).
Your hosts, Sue and Paul Ross, will conspire with the magnificent scenery and
tranquil atmosphere to make your visit a memorable experience.
The main guesthouse has a guest lounge with log fireplace and stunning
views of the mountains, a dining room, T.V. room and a cosy pub with DSTV. (Your
hosts have a separate dwelling, ensuring your privacy.)
Mountain view cottages.
Guests can choose between our two types of en- suite fireplace accommodation,
all with fireplaces and tea/coffee making facilities (firewood provided at no
cost). The Mountain view cottages (1,2 or 3 bedrooms) have
en suite bedrooms and a lounge with a log fireplace and a fridge. The main
bedroom has a 4 poster Queen bed, the en-suite a wall towel heater and a
separate bath & shower.
Garden view accommodation is in a spacious, traditional
thatch rondawel with a queen bed, couch and a log fireplace. Tea and coffee
making facilities. En suite bathroom with bath and separate shower ( and
wall heater).
Armore Guest Farm provides delicious farm-style cuisine. Included
in the tariff, is a 4 course lantern-lit dinner with complimentary wine (informal
dress) served in the Yellowwood dining room. Enjoy a pre-dinner drink
in the cosy bar or for coffee & tea around the fireplace in the
lounge after supper.
A traditional farmhouse breakfast (Full English) is served on the verandah
overlooking Ardmore's lovely garden. Visitors may order drinks, light
snacks and lunch in the tea garden. Beer, wine and a limited selection
of spirits are available in our bar (guests are welcome to bring their
own drinks). We provide fresh herbs and vegetables in season.
