battles such as Spioenkop and Colenso (Anglo-Boer War of 1899-1902); Isandlwana
and Rorke’s
Drift (Anglo-Zulu War of 1879). Walk in the footsteps of famous military strategists – Shaka
Zulu, Winston Churchill, Mohandas Gandhi and General Louis Botha - all part
of the rich history of the Drakensberg and KwaZulu-Natal Battlefields. Battlefield
Tours are offered by knowledgeable, friendly and accredited local guides who
will guarantee hour upon hour of captivating company. The Anglo-Boer war reached
as far south as Mooi
River in the Natal M idlands. For guests staying in lodging in the Battlefields, there are guides available
